Well, how the month has passed! It's already May, which means it's almost Mother's Day!
So, this time I'd like to tell you about generosity. Now that is a big word. In the dictionary, generosity means the quality of being kind and generous. Woah. That sounds confusing, but it means that generosity is when you are kind and give things to others, so May-be we need to give some nice things to our mums. May-be money, a card, breakfast in bed, or perhaps simply a hug.
In the Bible, 2 Corinthians 9:6 (NIV) says: "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously." If you gave someone $1, you would get $1, but if you gave someone $20, you would get $20 or more! It's common sense!
So, remember, this month, May-be we should give more to others, then they will give more to you. And it doesn't have to be money! It could be time with a friend or perhaps a simple compliment. Sometimes people might be curious why you gave them these things, and that's when you say God told you to share this love with others.
In the Bible, you could also tell them that Matthew 28:19 (NKJV) says: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." So go out there and give!
